Real-time-clock added to prevent system to switch on during power failures in day time to prevent battery discharge during daytime.
Reset switch added to bypass RTC feature if lights are required during daytime.

Optional extras

Motion sensors to prevent lights from switching on in areas where it is not required to preserve battery life.
GSM modem to switch lights on and off remotely by phone.
